We are Grand Traverse Chorus, Traverse City's coolest vocal ensemble for women. Our purpose is to provide opportunity for women to sing, learn about music, and promote the barbershop musical style. We have a wonderful time singing and socializing together, and we're always looking to welcome new members to our fold. If you would like to join us, or you just want to see what we're about, we invite you to attend one of our regular Tuesday evening rehearsals.
Competition Update! What a great weekend we had, April 20 through the 22! Not only did we improve our score over last year, but we placed 6th overall of the 18 competing choruses in our region! AND, our "new" director Jill Watson, received the Novice Director Award! It goes without saying, but we all felt particularly good about our performance this year. We sang well. It was exciting. It was fun. Our audience enjoyed it! AND we scored well. Thanks for all of your support!
